ISLAMABAD: The weather is expected to remain hot and humid in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, however, strong winds/winds and thundershowers are expected at a few places in Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North-East Punjab, East Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours, however, strong winds and thundershowers occurred at a few places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, North-East Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Heaviest rainfall Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:
Mir Khani 33, Drosh, Parachinar 03, Punjab: Hafizabad 23, Sialkot Airport 17, Chakwal 09, Gujranwala 07, Gujrat 04, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin 03, Sheikhupura 02, Murree 01, Gilgit-Baltistan: Babusar 22, Hunza, Skardu 01, Kashmir: Kotli 07, Balochistan: Barkhan 06, Zhob 04 mm of rain was recorded. Maximum temperatures recorded on Wednesday: Turbat, Dadu 45, Sibi, Bhakkar and Khanewal 44 degrees Celsius were recorded. The Meteorological Department has said that in view of the current situation, humid winds from the Arabian Sea are entering the upper and central regions of the country, while a low intensity westerly wind is affecting the western and upper regions of the country.
