DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the rankings of Test batsmen, according to which no Pakistani batsman is included in the top 10 Test batsmen.
Australia’s Travis Head remains at number one in the ICC Players’ Rankings, while English batsmen Harry Brook and Joe Root are at number two and three respectively.
Australia’s Steve Smith is at number four and South Africa’s Temba Bumrah is at number five in the ICC Test batsmen rankings.
After the recent Test series against the West Indies and Sri Lanka, there has been an improvement in the rankings of players from both teams.
Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendis has moved up two places to number six, while West Indies’ Justin Graves has moved up 14 places to number 49 and Shai Hope is at number 51 after moving up six places.
Pakistan team wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is ranked 18th on the list, while captain Babar Azam is ranked 19th and former Test captain Shan Masood is ranked 44th.
