ISLAMABAD: Rain is expected in the upper parts of the country, including Islamabad, today, but the weather in the plains will remain hot and dry.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and the Potohar region.
In addition, rain with strong winds has also been expected in upper and southeastern Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while the weather is predicted to remain hot and dry in other parts of the country.
Yesterday, the highest temperature was recorded in Jiwani at 46 degrees Celsius. Mohenjo-daro recorded 44 degrees Celsius and Larkana recorded 43 degrees Celsius.
