LAHORE: The Meteorological Department has predicted rains with thunder for the next five days.
Rains continue in various cities of Punjab including Lahore. Intermittent rains have also made the weather pleasant in the twin cities. The Meteorological Department has predicted intermittent rains with thunder next week.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of further decrease in temperature in Lahore city due to strong winds. The temperature in the city was currently recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, which is likely to go up to 32 degrees.
Regarding the flooding of rivers and canals during heavy rains, the PDMA has issued a letter to the Deputy Commissioner and directed the district administration institutions to remain alert, while citizens have been directed to stay away from rain canals, rivers, electricity poles and dilapidated buildings.
