ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Weather Update: According to the weather forecast of the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain mostly hot and dry in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
However, strong winds and thundershowers are likely at some places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, south and northeast Punjab, northeast Balochistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
Temperatures recorded in some major cities this morning:
- Islamabad 26 degrees Celsius
- Lahore and Peshawar 29
- Karachi 30
- Quetta 25
- Gilgat 17
- Murree 14
- Muzaffarabad 24 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather forecast of the Meteorological Department for the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir of India, partly cloudy weather, strong winds and thundershowers are likely in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.
Temperatures recorded this morning: 19 degrees Celsius in Srinagar and Anantnag, 27 degrees Celsius in Jammu, 6 degrees Celsius in Leh, 18 degrees Celsius in Pulwama and Shopian, and 20 degrees Celsius in Baramulla.
