Pakistan defeated Korea for the third consecutive match to take a decisive 3-0 lead in the hockey test series.
In the third test match of the ongoing Pakistan-Korea test series at the Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium, Islamabad, organized by the Pakistan Hockey Federation, the Pakistan national hockey team defeated South Korea 3-4 by showing excellent and aggressive play.
Pakistan achieved victory by making a brilliant comeback in the match. Korea showed an aggressive play at the beginning of the match and took a 0-1 lead at the end of the first half.
However, in the second half of the game, the Pakistan team scored consecutive goals while showing excellent play and won the match 3-4.
Hayat Zakaria scored field goals for Pakistan in the 32nd minute, Rana Waheed Ashraf in the 45th minute, Abdul Rehman in the 55th minute and Shahid Hanan in the 57th minute.
Kim Hyung-jin scored for Korea in the 10th minute, Yang Ji-hoon in the 33rd minute, and Kim Yong-bok in the 50th minute.
The special guest of the match was Federal Ombudsman Naveed Kamran Baloch, who sat in the stadium and appreciated the thrilling match played between the two teams and the performance of the players.
At the grand ceremony held at the end of the match, a commemorative shield was presented to the special guest by Pakistan Hockey Federation President Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani.
Chairman PHF Development Committee Olympian Hassan Sardar and Chairman Selection Committee Olympian Samiullah Khan, DG PSB Sports Board Yawar Hussain were also present on the occasion.
