TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has urged President Masoud Peshkeshian to focus on national unity.
According to Iranian state media, President Masoud Peshkeshian held a 7-hour-long meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei last month, in which the Supreme Leader stressed the need to maintain national unity and solidarity and focus on the economic conditions of the people.
On this occasion, President Peshkeshian said that the United States and Israel tried to create insecurity in Iran and push the country towards famine, looting and social chaos.
He added that the enemy’s attacks on Iran were based on data obtained from artificial intelligence, and Iran has thwarted the plans of spy networks and mercenaries one after another.
