DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the venues for the 2027 One-Day World Cup.
According to a statement issued by the ICC, the mega event will be hosted by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
The World Cup matches will be played at 12 grounds. The venues include 8 in South Africa, 3 in Zimbabwe and one in Namibia.
It should be noted that 14 teams will participate in the mega event, while the Australian team will defend its title.
The 14 teams will be divided into two groups, the top three teams from each group will make it to the Super 6.
It should be remembered that previously South Africa hosted the T20 World Cup in 2007, the Champions Trophy in 2009 and the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023, while Zimbabwe and Namibia recently hosted the Under-19 World Cup.
