ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Weather Update: According to the weather forecast of the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain mostly hot and dry in most parts of the country.
However, strong winds and thundershowers are likely at some places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and northeastern Punjab.
Temperatures of some major cities recorded this morning:
- Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 21 degrees Celsius
- Lahore 29
- Karachi 30
- Peshawar 28
- Quetta 23
- Gilgit 17
- and Murree 14 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather forecast of the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy sky, strong winds and thundershowers are likely in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.
Temperature recorded this morning: 16 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, Pulwama and Anantnag, 27 degrees Celsius in Jammu, 7 degrees Celsius in Leh, while 15 degrees Celsius in Shopian and Baramulla.
