According to the announcement, the temperature may increase by up to 7 degrees. The mercury will be 7 degrees higher in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There will be high heat in Malakand, Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan, Bagh, Neelum Valley.
According to the Meteorological Department, various places in Sindh and Balochistan will also be in the grip of heat. The mercury is likely to reach 38 degrees in Karachi. Citizens should take precautionary measures.
