Severe heat and humidity continue to prevail in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar. According to the Meteorological Department, the current temperature in Peshawar is 33 degrees Celsius, while the perceived temperature due to humidity has reached 40 degrees Celsius.
Today, the sky will be mostly sunny throughout the day and the maximum temperature is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius due to severe humidity. The humidity in the air is 69 percent while the wind speed is 11 kilometers per hour. The air pressure in the atmosphere is 1000 millibars and the visibility limit is 6 kilometers.
According to the Meteorological Department map, the temperature in Kabul, Asadabad, Hangu, Mingora, Abad and Islamabad and surrounding districts is also between 29 and 33 degrees. Citizens have been instructed to take precautionary measures due to severe humidity and heat and to use water as much as possible.
