ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in various parts of the country, while severe heat in some areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, Islamabad is likely to receive rain today with partial cloud cover. The weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of Punjab, however, rain has been predicted in Murree, Gulyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Lahore, Kasur, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sargodha and Sialkot.
Rain is expected in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar, Mardan, Dir, Chitral, Malakand, Kohistan, Buner, Nowshera, Swat, Malam Jabba, Kalam, Karam, Karak, Kohat, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Swabi, Charsadda and Bajaur, while hail is also possible in the upper districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to be extremely hot and dry in most districts of Sindh, while the temperature in Karachi is likely to be between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the weather is also predicted to be extremely hot in the southern districts of Balochistan.
