ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Weather Update: The weather has become pleasant in different areas of Karachi after the late night and early morning drizzle, while light and heavy rain is expected in the city throughout the day today.
Drizzle and light rain are continuing intermittently in various areas of the city including II Chandrigarh Road, Saddar, Old City MA Jinnah Road, Buffer Zone, Malir, Korangi, Defense, Shah Faisal Colony, Nazimabad and Garden.
The weather is pleasant across the city and strong winds are also continuing.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in Karachi today, the minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be up to 27 degrees Celsius.
A spokesperson for K-Electric says that due to the forecast of rain in the city and its surroundings, power supply may be suspended in some areas on safety grounds.
According to a spokesperson for K-Electric, supply is restored after the rain stops and clearance from the field teams.
