ISLAMABAD: According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
However, thundershowers are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas. The temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
- Islamabad and Lahore 23 degrees Celsius
- Karachi 30
- Peshawar 25
- Quetta and Muzaffarabad 20
- Gilgit 19
- Murree 15 degrees Celsius
According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast for the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir of India, partly cloudy weather, strong winds and rain with thundershowers are likely in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama and Baramulla.
Temperatures recorded this morning: 15 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian, 24 degrees Celsius in Jammu, 4 degrees Celsius in Leh, 16 degrees Celsius in Anantnag and Baramulla.
