ISLAMABAD: The price of gold in the global and local markets has increased significantly today.
In the global market, gold has become more expensive by $78 and reached $4,744 per ounce.
In the local bullion market, one tola of gold has become more expensive by Rs7,800, after which it has reached Rs496,762 per tola.
Ten grams of gold has become more expensive by Rs6,687 and reached Rs425,893.
Silver has become more expensive by Rs373 and reached Rs8,445 per tola. It should be noted that yesterday, gold had become more expensive by $111 in the global market and reached $4,666 per ounce, while in the local bullion market, one tola of gold had become more expensive by Rs11,100 and reached Rs488,962 per tola. Ten grams of gold had become more expensive by Rs9,517 and reached Rs419,206.
