ISLAMABAD: The weather is expected to remain hot and humid in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, although there is a possibility of rain at a few places in Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours.
The maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 47 degrees Celsius in Nokundi, 46 degrees Celsius in Sibi, Dalbandin and 45 degrees Celsius in Dadu. In view of the current situation, humid winds from the Arabian Sea are entering the eastern parts of the country, while dry winds are present in most parts of the country. A weak westerly wave is affecting upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.
