DG Meteorological Department Irfan Virk has said that the current spell of monsoon will continue for a few days, after the monsoon spell ends, there will be a break, then the rains will start, the spells of monsoon rains continue until October.
It should be noted that low-lying areas in Rawalpindi and Islamabad have been flooded after heavy rains, the water level in Nala Lai has reached 20 feet at Katarian, and intermittent rains are also continuing in other cities of the country.
Talking to the media, Irfan Virk said that intermittent rain is still possible in the upper areas of the country today, heavy rain is expected in Murree and Galiyat today. Heavy rain is likely in different areas during the next 3 to 4 days, and rain is likely again in Islamabad and the Potohar region.
