ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in different parts of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country, including Peshawar and most of the plain districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Peshawar, the temperature may reach 39 degrees Celsius, while the humidity in the air has been recorded at 48 percent. The weather will be relatively good in the upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and light rain is expected at a few places in Swat, Chitral and Dir.
Thunderstorms are expected in the areas of Naseerabad, Kohlu, Barkhan, Musakhel, Khuzdar and surrounding areas of Balochistan.
The heat is likely to continue in the plain areas, in view of which citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun and take precautionary measures.
Rain is expected at a few places in the Potohar region, Kashmir and Punjab.
