LONDON: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said that the UK will not become part of the ongoing war between Iran and the US under any circumstances.
He said that this war is not Britain’s war, nor is the country directly involved in this conflict. According to Keir Starmer, his first and last priority is the interests of the UK and its people.
The Prime Minister stressed that no matter what kind of pressure or request comes forward, the UK will not join this war. He said that the global economy has been damaged due to Iran-US tensions, but the focus of the British government is on the security and stability of its country.
Keir Starmer further said that the government is focusing on providing clear and calm leadership and will ensure the security of the people, national interests and the security of the country at all times.
