ISLAMABAD: The weather in Lahore is likely to remain dry during Basant.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Lahore will remain cold and dry on February 6 and 7, while it is likely to be partly cloudy on February 8.
The Meteorological Department says that the weather in Lahore from February 6 to 8 is suitable for kite flying, when the winds in the city will blow at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour.
The Meteorological Department has directed that kite flyers should fly kites while avoiding power lines.
It should be noted that the Basant festival is being celebrated in Lahore on February 6, 7 and 8, for which preparations have reached their peak.
