ISLAMABAD: Rain, Snowfall Forecast Across Pakistan. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in different parts of the country.
Rain and snowfall have started in different parts of Balochistan including Quetta. Snowfall occurred in Ziarat, Pishin, Qila Saifullah, Kozhak Top and Qila Abdullah.
Emergency measures had to be taken in Kan Mehtarzai due to snowfall. Electricity was suspended in different parts of Quetta due to rainfall. Cold has increased in Nushki after snowfall.
The mercury in the upper areas has dropped several degrees below freezing point. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Karachi from this afternoon to evening.
Heavy rain and snowfall on the mountains are expected in Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir today. Intermittent rain is also expected in Islamabad, Punjab and Sindh.
