WASHINGTON: The US military has stopped another ship from heading to an Iranian port.
A statement issued by CENTCOM, along with a photo of the two ships, said the move was part of a US blockade.
According to Marine Traffic, the MT Stream is an Iranian-flagged tanker. Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Ministry had condemned the US seizure of Iranian oil tankers at sea.
An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said the US actions amounted to naval blockade and gave it a clear legal justification.
