An Israeli newspaper has claimed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has sought intelligence assistance from Israel to prevent the Houthis from blocking the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The newspaper reports that the Crown Prince requested this assistance through direct contact with Israel and other Gulf states, as well as indirectly via US Central Command.
According to the report, the US refusal to launch attacks against Ansar Allah has placed Saudi Arabia in a precarious position; the Kingdom is facing attacks on multiple fronts, and its export routes are being cut off.
Saudi officials have not yet issued any response regarding the Israeli newspaper’s claim.
