ISLAMABAD: The weather has become pleasant due to rain in different areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and hail in different parts of the country tonight, while the highest temperature during the day was recorded in Dalbandin at 46 degrees Celsius.
Rain broke the heat in different areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Dark clouds covered the sky in the afternoon. Heavy and light rain also fell at different places, which made the weather pleasant. According to the Meteorological Department, there is an active weather system over the Margalla Hills. More rain is likely in the twin cities today. Rain and hail are also likely to occur with strong winds and thunderstorms in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, South Punjab, Upper Sindh and North-East Balochistan tonight. Meanwhile, heavy rain is also expected at a few places in North-East Balochistan and South Punjab. The weather will remain hot and dry in other parts of the country. The highest temperature today was recorded in Dalbandin at 46 degrees Celsius. The temperature was recorded at forty-five degrees Celsius in Sibi and forty-four degrees Celsius in Larkana.
