ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) and other public and private sector stakeholders, successfully concluded the Pakistan Tourism, Sports & Family Festival 2026, a mega national, family-oriented event, at the Jinnah Sports Complex.
As per the details, the two-day festival, held on January 31 and February 1, 2026, attracted a large number of families, tourists, and visitors from across the country. The event aimed to highlight Pakistan’s vast tourism potential, rich cultural heritage, sports diversity, and family-friendly recreational opportunities.
A wide range of activities and attractions were featured during the festival, including cultural performances representing all provinces, folk music and traditional dances, puppet shows, art and craft stalls, a gems and jewellery exhibition, automobile displays, and a vibrant food festival. Visitors also enjoyed cycling activities, sightseeing experiences, paragliding demonstrations, and dedicated family and kids’ arenas.
Special emphasis was placed on promoting medical tourism and adventure tourism, while interactive stalls and exhibitions provided visitors with insights into Pakistan’s diverse tourism destinations.
Officials from PTDC stated that the festival was organized to promote domestic tourism, strengthen inter-provincial harmony, and project a positive image of Pakistan as a safe and attractive destination for families and tourists.
The Pakistan Tourism, Sports & Family Festival 2026 was widely appreciated by participants and visitors, who termed it a successful initiative in celebrating Pakistan’s culture, sports, and tourism under one platform.
