ISLAMABAD: The government has issued a notification on the prices of petroleum products.
The government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs 1.97 per liter, after which the new price of petrol has become Rs 297.53 per liter.
According to the notification, the price of diesel has also been reduced by Rs 1.97 per liter.
The new price of diesel will be Rs 309.50 per liter.
It should be noted that the government changes the prices of petroleum products for the next 7 days.
The Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has expressed the possibility of further reduction in the price of petrol in the coming days.
Speaking on a private TV program, Rana Sanaullah said that I think that the price of petrol will be lower in the next one or two weeks. From the negotiations that have taken place between the US and Iran, it seems that oil prices will remain low for 60 days.
Rana Sanaullah said that oil companies cannot and have not blackmailed the government. They have also cooperated with the government. There has been no crisis or dispute at any petrol pump in Pakistan.
