ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Weather Update, the Meteorological Department has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of Punjab during the next 24 hours, while partly cloudy weather is expected in the Pothohar region during the evening/night. Similarly, rain and snowfall may occur in Murree, Galiyat and surrounding areas during the evening/night. However, medium to dense fog is likely to prevail in Sialkot, Narowal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Mianwali, Layyah, Bhakkar, Noorpur Thal, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Shorkot, Multan, Kot Addo, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.
According to the spokesperson, during the last 24 hours, the weather remained cold and dry in most districts of Punjab province, while the weather in the Potohar region remained partly cloudy. However, medium to dense fog prevailed in Sialkot, Narowal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Mianwali, Layyah, Bhakkar, Noorpur Thal, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Shorkot, Multan, Kot Addo, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.
Yesterday, the city’s minimum temperature was 8 and maximum 18 degrees Celsius, while the humidity rate in the air was recorded at 18 percent. The overall pollution rate in Lahore was 238 percent, while the air quality index in different areas of the city was recorded at CERP Office 180, Bedian Road 217, ARC Lahore 540, Burki Road 285, Askari Ten 218, Allama Iqbal Town 493, Cantonment 281 and Phase 5 DHA 227.
