Dhaka: Pakistan cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 128 runs in the second ODI of the 3-match series under the Duckworth-Lewis method.
In the match, Pakistan scored 274 runs while batting first, however, due to rain, Bangladesh got a target of 243 runs in 32 overs.
The Bangladesh team was bowled out for 114 runs in pursuit of the target.
In the match played under the captaincy of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field first.
Pakistan’s final XI included Sahibzada Farhan, Moaz Sadaqat, Shamil Hussain, Muhammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Hussain Talat, Abdul Samad, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Muhammad Wasim.
Pakistan’s innings
The Pakistani team was bowled out for 274 runs in the 48th over of the innings against Bangladesh.
Youngster Moaz Sadaqat batted brilliantly and scored 75 runs off 46 balls, his innings included 6 fours and 5 sixes.
Salman Ali Agha played an innings of 64 runs with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes, Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 44 runs, opener Sahibzada Farhan scored 31 and Faheem Ashraf scored 14 runs.
Bangladesh’s Rashad Hossain took 3 and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took 2 wickets.
However, the match was affected due to rain, after which Bangladesh got a target of 243 runs in 32 overs.
Bangladesh’s innings
Chasing a target of 243 runs, the Bangladesh team returned to the pavilion after scoring 114 runs in the 24th over.
Liton Doss was the standout for Bangladesh by scoring 41 runs. In addition, Tohid scored 28 and Saif Hassan scored 12 runs.
For Pakistan, Moaz Sadaqat and Haris Rauf took 3 wickets each. Shaheen Afridi took 2 wickets.
After winning by 128 runs, the 3-match series is level at 1-1. Bangladesh had defeated Pakistan in the first match.
