According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius this morning, while the temperature is likely to rise to 36 degrees Celsius during the day.
The report further states that the humidity ratio in the air in the city has been recorded at 80 percent, while the sea breeze is blowing at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour. Experts have advised citizens to take necessary precautions to avoid the intensity of the heat.
