According to the details, US Vice President JD Vance has returned to the US after participating in the important talks with Iran in Pakistan.
His plane landed directly from Islamabad at Joint Base Andrews in the US state of Maryland.
The US Vice President was on a special visit to Pakistan for talks with Iran, where he held 21-hour-long talks with the Iranian delegation.
Talking to the media on his return home, JD Vance said that the US has made its position clear and that they are giving Iran the “best option”, and he hopes that these talks will yield positive results.
JD Vance specially thanked Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their excellent hosting and facilitation during his visit.
He praised the efforts of the Pakistani leadership, saying that the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal had done an “amazing job” in bridging the differences between the US and Iran.
He said that Pakistan had played the role of an excellent mediator in this sensitive issue, for which the US administration was grateful.
