The Iranian delegation returned home after participating in the peace talks in Islamabad. According to details, before leaving, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi bid farewell to the delegation.
The Iranian delegation held talks with the American delegation in Islamabad for 21 hours regarding the peace talks. There were three to four rounds of talks in which the parties informed each other of their positions. The Iranian delegation included Speaker Baqir Qalibaf, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and other officials. The Iranian delegation expressed special gratitude to the Pakistani authorities for playing the role of mediator and hosting the talks.
