ISLAMABAD: According to the Meteorological Department report, the weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it is expected to be extremely cold in the mountainous areas. Moderate to severe fog is expected in the plains of Punjab, Upper Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Regarding the weather conditions on Saturday, the Meteorological Department said that the weather is expected to be cold and dry in Islamabad and its surroundings. However, fog is expected at a few places in the morning hours. The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while it is expected to be extremely cold in the mountainous areas in the morning and night hours. However, fog is expected in Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Swabi, Bannu, DI Khan and its surroundings.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to be cold and dry in most districts of Punjab, while the weather is expected to be extremely cold and dry in Murree, Galiyat and its surroundings. Sialkot, Narowal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Shorkot, Multan, Kot Addo, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan are likely to experience moderate to heavy fog.
The Meteorological Department says that the weather is expected to remain cold and dry in most districts of Sindh. Fog is expected in Sukkur, Rohri, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mohenjodaro and surrounding areas during the morning/night hours. The weather is expected to remain cold and dry in most districts of Balochistan while the morning and night hours are expected to remain extremely cold in the northern districts. In addition, the weather is expected to remain extremely cold and partly cloudy in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Haze is expected at a few places in the morning hours.
