Rawalpindi — Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, met with the President of Indonesia, His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, in Islamabad.
The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and bilateral defence cooperation. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strong defence ties between the two countries.
President Prabowo appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions to regional peace and stability. COAS Asim Munir emphasized Pakistan’s longstanding and valued relationship with Indonesia and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to expanding cooperation in training, counter-terrorism, and capacity-building.
