Russia-Ukraine Strikes : Two people were killed in air strikes by Russia on Ukraine last night, while one person was killed in a retaliatory strike by Ukraine on the Russian capital, Moscow.
According to a foreign news agency, in these latest operations, Russian forces targeted Ukraine’s largest steel plant in the industrial city of Kryvyi Rih late at night. According to Ukrainian officials, at least two people were killed and 14 were injured in the attack.
The company managing the steel plant said in a statement that “the attack damaged key production facilities in the power generation and blast furnace sectors and partially halted the plant’s production process.”
On the other hand, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that it had shot down 822 Ukrainian drones across the country during the latest attacks, while the governor of the Russian region of Belgorod confirmed that one person was killed in a drone attack on a bus, which borders eastern Ukraine.
In addition, the Ukrainian military says it has also targeted a key missile fuel production facility in the Rostov region of Russia late last night, but Russia has not immediately commented on this claim.
