The international exhibition “Turkey through the Eyes of International Artists” officially opened in Gönen, Turkey in October 2025.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Gönen, the Rector of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, and several prominent cultural and artistic figures. With the participation of over 40 artists from 11 different countries, the event aims to foster cultural and artistic exchange globally.
The opening ceremony commenced with official welcoming speeches, followed by a special recognition ceremony for the organizers. Attendees then took a guided tour of the gallery to meet the participants and view their artwork. The first day concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the participating artists.
Over the following days, art workshops were held at Bandırma University and the gallery, alongside cultural and sightseeing tours across Gönen, Bandırma, and Istanbul. These activities provided the artists with a wonderful opportunity to engage with the local community and exchange artistic expertise.
The exhibition was organized by Janaritta Armouti Gallery (Jordan), in cooperation with Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, and under the sponsorship of the Gönen Art Committee (Turkey).
