KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the city.
According to a private news channel, Deputy Director PMD Anjum Nazir Zaigham said that a series of westerly winds is going to start in Karachi around 2 to 3 pm tomorrow. It will first affect the western districts of Karachi, under which there may be light and moderate rain with thunder and lightning, but there is no possibility of heavy rain.
Anjum Nazir Zaigham said that the weather in Karachi will not be cold due to the rain in Karachi, but it will definitely become pleasant. The temperature in Karachi may go up to 35 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday. This is because there is a rain-bearing stream that will move towards the west or northwest, so there will be some northeasterly winds in Karachi and when these winds blow in February, their effect is not cold.
He further said that overall the weather will be pleasant during Ramadan, it will not be too hot, but the sun will definitely feel scorching in the afternoon.
