The Pentagon confirmed the sale of Patriot missiles to Saudi Arabia, stating that the kingdom will be provided with advanced capability missiles and related equipment.
Earlier, the U.S. also approved the sale of military equipment to Israel worth $6.5 billion.
In this regard, the U.S. State Department had stated that the military equipment to be provided to Israel includes Apache helicopters worth $3.8 billion and light vehicles worth $1.98 billion.
Israel will also be provided with other military equipment, including power packs and logistics support for Namer armored personnel carriers.
