According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is expected in the southern parts of the country.
From February 16, westerly winds are expected to enter the southern parts of the country, while rain with thunderstorm is expected in Waziristan, Bannu and D.I. Khan on February 16 and 17.
Rain-thunderstorm is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Loralai, Khuzdar, Sibi, Naseerabad, Jhal Magsi, Mastung, Barkhan, Musa Khel and Kalat.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain with gusty winds and thunderstorm in Awaran, Gwadar, Ormara, Pasni and adjoining areas.
Rain is also expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Jamshoro, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad and Khairpur on February 17.
Rain and thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and adjoining parts of Sindh.
