Murree: The local administration has imposed Section 144 in Murree in view of New Year celebrations to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
According to the Murree District Police Officer, the restrictions will remain in force for the next two days. During this period, entry to Mall Road will be allowed for families only, while single travelers will not be permitted to access the area.
The DPO stated that the decision has been taken to provide a peaceful and secure environment for tourist families visiting Murree. However, single visitors may explore other areas of the hill station apart from Mall Road.
Authorities have urged tourists to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and follow the imposed guidelines to avoid inconvenience and ensure a safe New Year experience for all.
