ISLAMABAD: The weather is ready to change again, NDMA has issued an alert about the weather situation.
According to NDMA, there is a possibility of rain in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit from March 9 to 12. There is a possibility of wind and light rain in the Potohar region including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Mianwali. There is also a possibility of hail in the upper areas of Islamabad and the Potohar region. There is a possibility of wind and light rain in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from March 9 to 11. Rain is likely in Chitral, Dir, Haripur, Karak, Kohat, Kohistan, Khyber, Kurram, Mansehra, Mohmand, Nowshera, Malakand, Charsadda, Abbottabad, Bannu, Buner, Peshawar, Swabi and surrounding areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and partly cloudy weather are expected at a few places in various areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir until March 11. Rain has been predicted in the areas of Astur, Gilgit, Skardu, Diamer, Ghizer, Hunza, Nagar, Muzaffarabad, Neelum, Hattian Bala, Bagh, Haveli and Poonch.
