ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted that due to the effects of the new western circulation, there is a possibility of light rain, drizzle or drizzle in the city on February 18-19 (1st Ramadan).
According to Deputy Director of the Meteorological Department Anjum Nazir Zaigham, a new western circulation is entering the country on February 17 of this month, as a result of which thunderstorms are expected not only in Karachi but also in various districts of rural Sindh.
Anjum Nazir said that there is a strong possibility of rain in the city on the first day of Ramadan with partly or fully cloudy weather, which can provide pleasant weather and peace to the citizens during the days of Ramadan.
The Meteorological Department says that successive western wind circulations will enter in March, as a result of which rain may continue in different cities of the country.
The minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 18.2 degrees and the maximum at 31.6 degrees Celsius yesterday. Experts are advising citizens to take precautions according to weather conditions and enjoy the rain on the occasion of the first day of Ramadan.
This rain will not only make the weather pleasant but will also provide citizens with the gift of natural coolness and tranquility on the first day of Ramadan.
