LAHORE: The Capital city Lahore is witnessing a mix of light winds and sun and clouds today, making the weather pleasant. According to the Meteorological Department, the chances of rain have almost disappeared and only a 5 to 10 percent chance remains. The temperature in Lahore has been recorded at 32 degrees Celsius.
According to meteorologists, the weather is feeling comfortable due to light winds, but the air quality remains worrisome. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in the city has reached 249, making Lahore the fourth most polluted city in the country.
According to the details, the AQI was recorded at 284 in Barki Road, 263 in the CIPR office area and 217 on Bedian Road. Experts have advised citizens to avoid spending too much time outdoors and children, the elderly and people suffering from respiratory diseases should be especially careful.
