ISLAMABAD: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the enemy forces trying to sabotage Pakistan’s progress through proxies and negative propaganda will fail.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison. On his arrival in Quetta, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by Corps Commander Quetta.
Addressing the officers and faculty members undergoing training at Command and Staff College, Quetta, the Field Marshal appreciated the high standard of training, efficiency and professionalism of the Staff College and stressed the importance of coordination among the three services and keeping abreast of future war challenges including emerging technologies, multi-domain operations. He also highlighted the rapidly changing nature of modern warfare.
The Chief of Defence Forces said that the graduates of this college have always been distinguished for their exceptional performance and professional dedication. The officers should ensure continuous training of themselves and their men to effectively respond to the changing demands of war and maintain the highest standards of professionalism, readiness and operational excellence.
During the visit, the Field Marshal also met the officers and men of the formations deployed in Balochistan. During this visit, the Field Marshal praised the high morale of the officers and men for maintaining peace, stability and state writ in Balochistan and also paid tribute to their operational readiness and professional commitment.
Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir said that the armed forces are determined to completely eliminate all forms of terrorism with the unwavering support of the people. The progress and rise of Pakistan cannot be stopped through propaganda, fake news or terrorism under external patronage. The enemy forces will ultimately fail due to the strength of the state and the unity of the people.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said that the hostile forces trying to sabotage Pakistan’s progress through proxies and negative propaganda will fail, sustainable development is conditional on effective security measures along with people-friendly strategies and better governance.
On this occasion, the Field Marshal also appreciated the efforts of the Balochistan government for socio-economic improvement and strengthening the relationship between the state and the people and stressed the importance of sustainable peace and stability in Balochistan, saying that long-term development is not possible without a strategy based on people’s welfare and better governance.
