PARIS: French President Emmanuel Macron has said that France will never participate in an operation to open the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement, President Macron said that we are not a party to this conflict and will not participate in any operation to open the Strait of Hormuz in the current situation.
He also said that France is working on preparing a coalition that will guarantee freedom of navigation after the tension is over.
Earlier, British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer had also said in his statement that the UK will not participate in an operation to open the Strait of Hormuz.
