IAF Training Aircraft Crashes into Pond in Prayagraj; Investigation Underway. On Wednesday in the Indian city of Prayagraj, a training aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed and was destroyed during a flight.
According to Indian media, the accident occurred while the training flight was proceeding as usual. Suddenly, due to a technical malfunction, the aircraft went out of control and fell into a nearby pond.
Following the incident, the Indian Air Force, local authorities, and rescue teams immediately reached the site and began relief operations.
Eyewitnesses said that at the time of the accident, there was a loud sound, after which the aircraft rapidly descended and fell into the water. The area was momentarily thrown into panic, and due to security concerns, the crash site has been cordoned off.
Officials of the Indian Air Force stated that a full investigation has been launched to determine the actual cause of the accident.
Initially, no casualties have been confirmed. However, officials have said that final information will only be available after the rescue operation is completed.
