ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather in the first decade of Ramadan.
In an exclusive interview with a private TV, Deputy Director of the Meteorological Department Irfan Virk said that the weather is predicted to be hot and dry in the first decade of Ramadan, and there is apparently no possibility of rain in the first decade of Ramadan. The mercury is expected to drop below 30 degrees in Islamabad, while it is expected to go up to 35 degrees in Sindh and southern Punjab.
On the other hand, a new series of rains has been predicted in various cities of the country before the start of Ramadan. According to the PDMA, there is a possibility of rain in the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from last night, and the series of thunderstorms will continue until Tuesday.
According to the announcement, there is a possibility of rain in Kurram, Bannu, North and South Waziristan, rain is also expected in Lakki Marwat, Tank and DI Khan. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in Dera Ismail Khan along with rain.
Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted that there is a possibility of strong winds and thundershowers in the southern and western parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, a weather system is likely to enter the western parts of the country on February 16, due to which rain may occur in various cities. The report said that rain is expected in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin and surrounding areas during February 16 and 17.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds and thundershowers in Karachi, Gwadar, Pasni, Hyderabad, Thatta and Sukkur on February 17.
