ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has warned the people of Karachi that there is a possibility of heavy rain on Eid, which may make the weather pleasant.
According to the details, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the city on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and said that there is a possibility of cloudburst and thundershowers in the suburban areas of Karachi on Saturday, which may make the weather pleasant.
The Meteorological Department says that before Eid, that is, tomorrow, bright sunshine is expected in the city, due to which the heat can be felt during the day.
However, there is a possibility of a change in the weather from Saturday, which may double the joy of Eid.
The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to keep the changing weather conditions in mind during Eid preparations, especially those who are planning Eid gatherings or sightseeing in open places.
Yesterday, heavy rains accompanied by gale-force winds wreaked havoc in Karachi. Winds gusting up to 97 kilometers per hour blew away roofs, collapsed walls, and uprooted poles and trees.
