According to the media reports, 6 names are under consideration for the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, including 3 political figures and three former military officers.
Reports say that the names of Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Aftab Sherpao and Pervez Khattak are under consideration among the political figures.
The names of Lieutenant General (retd) Khalid Rabbani, Lieutenant General (retd) Ghayur Mahmood and Lieutenant General (retd) Tariq Khan are also under consideration for the post of Governor of KP.
Lieutenant General (retd) Ghayur Mahmood, Lieutenant General (retd) Tariq Khan are former IG FC while Lieutenant General (retd) Khalid Rabbani is former Corps Commander Peshawar.
