PM Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir are in Switzerland for US-Iran talks, where they met US Vice President JD Vance.
US Vice President JD Vance was accompanied by Jared Kushner and Steve Wittkoff in the delegation, who met the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Before the meeting, US Vice President JD Vance also acknowledged the efforts made by Pakistan for an agreement between Iran and the US. In response to a question in this regard, JD Vance described Pakistan’s role as excellent and said enthusiastically, ‘We love Pakistan’.
Sources say that after meeting the US delegation, PM Shahbaz Sharif will also meet the Iranian delegation, which will be headed by Baqir Qalibaf, accompanied by Foreign Minister Araqchi and other officials.
