TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai has made it clear that Iran currently has no plans for a new round of talks with the United States.
According to the spokesman, in the current situation, there is no progress being made by Tehran regarding direct talks with Washington.
According to Esmail Baqai, the United States has proven that it is not serious about moving forward with the diplomatic process,
He said that the United States has violated the ceasefire and Iran has informed the mediator Pakistan.
He added that differences between the two countries continue to exist, due to which there is no possibility of immediate talks.
Political observers say that the recent tensions between Iran and the United States, the naval blockade, and issues such as the nuclear program have made the negotiation process more complicated. In addition, ongoing conflicts and lack of trust in the region have also increased the distance between the two countries.
According to experts, if tensions do not decrease, the resumption of negotiations appears difficult in the near future, while the prospects for peace in the region may also be affected.
